When this Parisian brand, owned by LVMH — Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, opened a luxury boutique in Copley Place, the project required a partner with strict attention to detail. Known for their curated collection of ready-to-wear apparel and luxury leather goods, the space needed a simple and striking aesthetic to elevate the in-store shopping experience.

Scope of Work

This renovation included a new interior partition, new marble flooring, high-end wall and ceiling finishes, new signage, fixed product displays, light fixtures, as well as plumbing, mechanical, and required fire safety elements like sprinklers and alarms.

Challenges & Highlights

Luxury brands dictate precision in all their spaces and require a partner that is up to the task. In addition, LVMH is a French brand, and therefore, the project uses the metric system, not the imperial system. It was vital to have a team with high standards and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all measurements for the project are completely accurate, down to the millimeter. In addition, the focus on minute details in a luxury store can make all the difference when creating an atmosphere for shoppers. The AMCON team helped ensure that every project detail was perfect, from where the light coves die into the millwork, all the way down to the grout lines on the floor.

Results

Our work together with LVMH’s in-house project management team resulted in a flawless luxury boutique that attracts shoppers and creates a one-of-a-kind atmosphere within the Copley Place Mall. The AMCON team‘s deep understanding of the complexity and technical requirements meant this global retail brand’s construction project exceeded client expectations.
