Ye’s Table

This restaurant project included extensive foundation and site work, which was well worth the effort. The final result is a unique, stunning restaurant with multiple bars, indoor/outdoor seating, and a dining room full of natural light.

Scope of Work

AMCON’s work on the project included site re-development, a building addition, and interior fit-up to provide a new 6,640 square foot, 148-seat restaurant. We also did extensive foundation work, where we rebuilt a foundation on top of the existing basement structure, requiring mini piles.

Challenges & Highlights

The existing building was formerly a bank, and AMCON demolished the entire structure save for the basement. After the demo, this project had heavy site work requirements, and the AMCON team subsequently encountered unsuitable soil conditions that needed to be remediated in order to put in the new foundation.

Results

With challenging conditions, the AMCON team was able to quickly develop a plan for progress and move forward by replacing the soils and continuing construction on the original basement structure, with the foundation securely poured. The final results created a restaurant with a bar, private dining room, standalone sushi and raw bars, and outdoor space.
