Springhill Suites

A hotel’s entrance is the first impression guests get, and the porte cochere at Springhill Suites in Peabody makes a strong one. AMCON delivered a new covered entry for this Marriott property, giving arriving guests a polished, welcoming introduction to the hotel.

Scope of Work

AMCON completed the construction of the porte cochere at the hotel’s main entrance, including the canopy structure, its columns, and the exterior finishes that tie it into the existing facade. The scope also included lighting beneath the canopy, new paving at the drop-off area, and curbing and landscaping around the entry.

Challenges & Highlights

Exterior work on an operating hospitality property takes careful planning. Guest arrival, vehicle access, and site safety all have to be considered at every stage, and the new structure has to look like it has always belonged on the building. AMCON paid close attention to how the canopy meets the existing navy and white facade and green metal roofline, so the addition feels like a natural extension of the architecture. Hospitality brands also come with standards to meet. Our experience with national brands and program clients means we know how to work within those guidelines while keeping the schedule on track.

Results

The finished porte cochere gives Springhill Suites a clean, modern, and inviting entrance. The white columns and canopy, warm downlighting, and refreshed landscaping create a clear sense of arrival for guests, and the covered drop-off adds convenience in every season. AMCON’s careful planning and detail-oriented execution delivered a standout entry that enhances the guest experience from the moment they pull up.
